TUTORING

 Fairfax Collegiate offers tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students in all subjects. Tutors have a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise that enable us to match the correct tutor with each student. Tutoring sessions can be arranged at different locations and times to provide families with the greatest amount of flexibility. We also offer test preparation tutoring.

Test Preparation Tutoring
Fairfax Collegiate offers tutoring for the New SAT based on The Official SAT Study Guide published by the College Board, the authoritative SAT preparation guide. Tutors emphasize short-term preparation. Students review key concepts and learn specific tactics for each type of question on the exam. Many students report score increases of over two hundred points after being tutored. Results, of course, vary by student. Tutoring for other types of standardized tests (PSAT, SSAT, Thomas Jefferson, TerraNova, ERB, etc.) can also be arranged following the same guidelines.

In addition to tutoring, Fairfax Collegiate offers courses in SAT Preparation and the High School Placement Test (HSPT), Secondary School Admission Test(SSAT), and Thomas Jefferson(T.J.)
