Elizabeth Armstrong Hall


Liz Armstrong Hall looks forward to returning to the Fairfax Collegiate Summer Program, where she taught Creative Writing (Grades 4-6) and Exam Essay Writing (Grades 7-8) in 2006. After earning her California teaching credential at San Francisco State University, she taught English for four years in the San Francisco Bay Area. A working writer since 1980, Liz has written two nonfiction books, along with feature stories for kids and grownups. Her work has appeared National Geographic Kids, Highlights for Children, Cobblestone, DIG, Cornwall Today, the Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor and the San Francisco Chronicle. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Liz lives in Prince William County with her husband, Ray Hall, and Airedale Terrier, Grace.
