Ida Hiller


Ida Hiller has taught English for more than 9 years, specializing in ESL and SAT Critical Reading and Writing preparation. Ida has worked with several community and church-based organizations serving children and adults and instructed international students at Columbia College. She currently teaches for and coordinates a church-based ESL program with an enrollment of several hundred English-learners annually. She graduated from Harvard University, holds an MBA from Syracuse University, and successfully completed the Financial Management Program at General Electric Company (GE). In addition to GE, she has held positions at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation. Ida has two college-aged daughters. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and daughters; cooking for friends, family, and students; and studying foreign languages. She looks forward to sharing her love of the English language with her Fairfax Collegiate students this summer.
