Jyotiska Biswas


Jyotiska Biswas is a Sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University. He is double majoring in Computer Science and Physics. He attended Oakton High School where he did OHS Rocketry for three years. He was the captain of one of the TARC (Team America Rocketry Competition) teams at his school. He was also the lead designer of his CANSAT team that won first place in the 2008 competition. Jyotiska has volunteered in the Reston Regional Library for three years. Currently, at CMU, he is a member of the TAP Project at Pittsburgh, to raise funds and awareness for third world countries. He is taking several programming classes at CMU, and enjoys participating in human rights clubs for his extracurricular activities. This will be his first year teaching at the Fairfax Collegiate Program. He is very much looking forward to it.
