Directed Study
Grades 7-9
Students work toward specific individual academic goals with the assistance of an instructor in a small-group setting. This program is a substitute for summer tutoring or summer school.
Prior to the program, families complete questionnaires detailing students’ goals, curricular objectives, instructional texts, and required evaluation and documentation.
The instructor to student ratio is one to eight or better. We encourage parents to correspond with or meet with instructors prior to and during the program.
Due to the nature of this program, most students will enroll in three consecutive two-week sessions.
