History

In 1993 Steven Nossal founded Fairfax Collegiate as an independent middle school in Falls Church, VA. The mission of the school was to provide academic excellence in a supportive and nurturing environment. In 1998 the school relocated to Annandale, VA. By 2000, 52 middle school students attended the school, the school had earned full accreditation, and graduates attended many leading area public, private, and independent high schools.

From inception, Fairfax Collegiate offered a summer enrichment program. The school grew slowly, but the Summer Program immediately earned a strong following. In 2003, the Summer Program became Fairfax Collegiate's exclusive focus. Under the leadership of Jennifer Nossal, the program has grown from one campus in 2003 to five campuses in 2009. More important than our growth is our satisfaction from making a difference in our students' lives.
